2020 Toyota RAV4

You may or may not know that the very popular Toyota RAV4 was the one that created the compact crossover movement years ago.  The RAV4 continues to be King of the Road as Toyota sold more than any other non-pickup vehicles in America last year and will probably keep that crown this year.

You and yours will discover why in a visit with the friendly folks at Toyota of Rockwall located at 1250 E. I-30 in Rockwall, Texas or by calling the dealership at 469.402.1300 and take a RAV4 for a test drive.  Easy as that.

Fresh from a complete redesign last year, this very family friendly SUV is eye catching with its chunky, squared off aggressive looking shape that is combined with exaggerated wheel arches and an angry-looking front end that delivers loads of presence.  The RAV4 just refuses to go anywhere unnoticed.  In the cabin, the ergonomics are sound with soft sturdy seats, gobs of room for people and their gear.

Like all previous RAV4's, the interior packaging is excellent with a prominent touchscreen and knobs for tuning such things as climate control. It comes with the latest Toyota infotainment system for your entertainment and communication desires with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The big news for 2020 for the RAV4 is the introduction of the TRD off-road model.  The TRD comes with raised height, twin-tube dampers, special suspension, dark exterior accents, fender flares, all-terrain tires, standard AWD and other sporty stuff.  The TRD is kin to the Adventure trim, but loaded with off-road steroids and so ready to take you on those weekend adventures off the beaten path or even on a date night.

On or off the paved roads, you will appreciate the biggest and most comfortable cabins in the RAV4 segment.  All Toyota RAV4's come with a feisty 2.5-liter four cylinder that punches out 203 lively ponies and is paired perfectly with a smooth shifting 8-speed automatic and standard front wheel drive with two available AWD setups.

The Toyota RAV4 continues to receive positive reviews by car critics, for example Consumer Reports awarded the RAV4 with one of their coveted Check Marks for a Recommended Vehicle and that recognition is not just “a walk in the park”.  Also, check out the new RAV4 Hybrid that is super on gas with nearly 40 mpg combined and is quick as a cat with the electric power.  Since the RAV4 is used a lot for family hauling, it is very comforting to know that many safety features are standard, which includes the popular emergency braking system.

Hands down, the 2020 Toyota RAV4 is just a joy to drive, especially to be seen in and brings a lot of value for the investment.  No better time than now to check one out and see if the 2020 RAV4 from Toyota meets your expectations. Easy as that.
