2020 Toyota Camry

Toyota has refreshed its very popular Camry for 2020 and has checked all the boxes from sporty looks to more horses under its handsome hood.  The midsized five passenger sedan Camry has been Toyota's “bread and butter” top seller for years and looks like this trend will continue. Why you say?

It is because of the new alluring exterior sleek styling built around a wide and assertive stance, sporty appearance, improved ride and comfort, a lower roofline and quiet cabin for starters.  But, the big draw for this sleek sedan is that for 2020 Toyota is offering an exciting performance version which is called the TRD (Toyota Racing Development) that is all new for 2020.
This TRD model is currently on display for your up close and personal attention with the friendly folks at Toyota of Rockwall located at 1250 E. I-30 in Rockwall, Texas or by calling the dealership at 469.402.1300and so ready to take you for a spin.  The Toyota TRD comes with a number of track-inspired features that includes an aerodynamic “fast and furious” body kit, tougher suspension and brakes, wider wheels, rear wing supported by two struts and much more in this “hotted up” Camry.

Under its sporty hood lives a 3.5-liter V6 that punches out over 300 lively ponies and delivers 267 asphalt grabbing torque mated with a smooth shifting 8-speed automatic.  But not to worry as you can get that same power plant in other Camry models.  The base engine is a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder that makes over 200 horses and 184 lb-ft of torque.  This four doesn't like gas pumps as it gets 29 mpg city and 41 on the highway. Meanwhile the V6 delivers 22 city and 32 which is good for that many horses.

The new Toyota Camry is available in six models which are L, LE, SE, XLE, XSE and TRD.  The base comes standard with LED daytime running lights, 7-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and more.  Upgrading add-ons alloy wheels, leather, 8-inch infotainment system, premium JBL audio, sunroof and navigation. Since the Camry is used a lot for family hauling, it is comforting to know that every Camry comes standard with a slew of safety features.  These include reversing camera, lane departure warning with steering assist, adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety also gave the Camry top marks. Toyota has always believed in you and yours' safety.

The 2020 Toyota Camry remains a spacious, efficient, stylish and very reliable midsized sedan and the new TRD model gives it some bite to go with its sporty styling.  No better time than now to check a Camry out and get that “fun factor” back into your drive times.
